Another year of great poetry from a diverse group of Juneau poets! The winning poems will spend the next year riding Juneau’s Capital Transit buses aboard placards in the advertising areas above the seating, so keep your eye out for a great read on your next bus ride. All poems entered in the contest as well as the winning poems (from 2006-2009) are available to check out from the Library.
This podcast is slightly abridged, as there were several poets who wished to be excluded from the final edit. If you’d like to get involved in this great annual competition, keep your eye out for entry forms that usually begin circulating around town and on the Juneau Arts and Humanities website in December.
